Mission Statement

The mission of Mount Jezreel Baptist Church is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, enlighten and empower believers and glorify our God in obedience to the commands and teachings of His Son Jesus Christ.

Plan of Action

To accomplish this, Mount Jezreel is committed to actively engaging in the ministries of Service, Worship, Education, Evangelism, Economic Development, and Pastoral Care within and outside of our community and Stewardship as revealed in God's Word, particularly Luke 4:18-19; Matthew 25:31-46; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:6-8; Malachi 3:8-11; and 2 Corinthians 9:6-8.

Church Goal

We believe that every church disciple should understand his/her conversion and understand God's purpose for his/her life. Moreover, each disciple of Mount Jezreel Baptist Church should know and support the directions and goals that God has placed on the heart of the Pastor to lead the disciples of this body of Christ, Mount Jezreel Baptist Church.

The goal of Mount Jezreel is to empower and equip the saints for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ until all saints are unified in the knowledge of the Son of God. "14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won't be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love." (Ephesians 4:14-16, NLT)

The Pastor's Vision

It is the Pastor's Vision to create a spiritual union with God where people are restored, enriched, and transformed through the saving grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, where fellowship among disciples is genuine and loving, in the manner that it is spoken of in John 13:34-35; Romans 12:12:9-19.

All disciples must commit to the edification of the body of Christ through discovery and exercise of their Spiritual Gifts in accordance with 1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12.

Finally, we must always strive to fulfill the Great Commission, which is to share the gospel and make disciples worldwide as instructed in Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:6-8.
